CCIA's Intellectual Property Committee
Some forecast that the U.S. cannabis industry will grow to $50 billion per year within the next 10 years. In the view of the co-chairs of the CCIA Intellectual Property Committee, most of the value of cannabis companies will consist of intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and copyrights. The cannabis companies that best invest in the growth of their intellectual property portfolios will grow their value best.
Through committees, CCIA brings together members of the industry to tackle problems together and find solutions. It's committees like these that have helped bring one voice to lawmakers and regulators regarding issues that affect you. We are pleased to announce the new Intellectual Property Committee and we invite you to join.
