Monday Marks the End of the 15 Day Public Comment Period for Proposed Draft Regulations!

These are the “almost final” comments that CCIA will be submitting on behalf of our members on Monday, Nov 5. We hope you’ll find these useful while crafting your own comments, which is part of the reason we pushed so hard to have these (almost) done a few days early.

Please note that minor edits might be made over the weekend as we continue to fine tune language, especially around 5724. Stay tuned for any changes!

Once again, our supply chain committees were able to provide extensive insight into the most significant changes reflected in the second draft of the permanent regulations. Our board then made the final decision on how to proceed with these comments. I’m always grateful for their leadership!

I want to thank Josh Drayton, CCIA’s Outreach and Communications Director, for spearheading this process within our committees and helping to gather as much info as he could. I also want to thank Amy Jenkins, CCIA’s Senior Policy Director, for her continued guidance.
