In response to the concerns from our membership regarding the extensive processing time of annual licenses, CCIA has worked closely with Senator McGuire and Assemblymember Wood in the development of SB 67, which will provide licensing authorities the ability to grant extensions until they process the annual application backlog for the estimated 10,000 temporary licenses. SB 67 will be heard on Wednesday, February 27th at 11am in the Business, Professions and Economic Development Committee, and has been fast-tracked so that it will be implemented upon signature from the Governor.
